Being Spoiled by God is not just about getting everything that we want. It is not necessarily about the big houses and fancy cars. All of these are nice, but to be Spoiled By GOD means so much more. It is not just another way of thinking, it is a realization. It is recognizing the hand of GOD in every area of our lives. It is about taking notice of and appreciating all of the small and intimate things that our Daddy does for us, along with the extravagant. It is the gentle waking hand of the Father across your face in the morning. It is about that minor detail that was not necessary but made your gift that much more rewarding.  It is about the gift of Him sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit by which we can call Him Abba, Father, and Daddy.  It is seeing your prayers answered exactly the way you imagined. And, it is about those prayers that were not - only because it was not the best thing for you. It is being thankful for both the things that He has given you and those things that He has kept from you and protected you from. Being thankful for those that He has brought into your life and for the people whom He has taken away.  Being Spoiled By GOD is even about those days that you are struck by illness. You are forced to stay in bed and not so that you can get some extra work done or to have more bible study. This time, it is because your Heavenly Daddy knew how much rest you needed, and this was the only way that He could get you to slow down. It happened so that you may lie in the presence of GOD and allow Him to love on you and gaze with adoring eyes upon His resting creation. It is then that He can speak to you intimately and freely and bring to your mind all of the ideas that have been stored up inside of you. So we know that with anything He allows to happen to us, it not to harm us, but to make us stronger, refine us, and draw us closer to Him.  And we are better Christians and people for it.  That, and so much more, is what being Spoiled By GOD is all about. We are all Spoiled By GOD, we just have to acknowledge it.  It is getting your own way with GOD... His way.
